This guide walks you through connecting from both the AdRoll platform and your Shopify store.
Once you complete the steps in this integration guide AdRoll will automatically sync your product feed to deliver dynamic ads and create out-of-the-box Shopify Website Audiences based on user behavior. Connecting AdRoll to Shopify (from AdRoll)

Log in to your AdRoll Account: Go to AdRoll and sign in.
- If you are new to AdRoll you will be prompted to Sign up for AdRoll. Fill in the required details and click Sign Up.

Verify Your Email (for new accounts): Check your inbox for a verification email from AdRoll and click the "Verify Email Address" link.
- Confirm Your Ad Plan: Review the plan details and confirm or upgrade as needed.

Welcome to AdRoll: This screen introduces AdRoll’s benefits, click Next.

Choose How You Gather Visitor Consent: Select one the three methods and click Next. Learn about these options here.

Connect AdRoll to Your Store: Choose Shopify.

Initiate Connection: After selecting the Shopify, click Connect.
- Authorize the App: You will be redirected to your store admin. Click Install app when prompted.

Install App: Confirm and allow the required permissions for AdRoll to access your store data.

Complete Setup: After installation, you’ll be redirected to AdRoll and see a "Success" message.

Verify Connection: Confirm that your pixel is connected and tracking site activity.
Connecting AdRoll to Shopify (from Shopify)
- Access your Shopify Admin: Log in to your Shopify store admin panel.

Navigate to the App Store: In the left-hand navigation menu, click on Apps. Then, click on Shopify App Store or Add apps.

Search for AdRoll: In the Shopify App Store search bar, type "AdRoll" and press Enter.
- Select the AdRoll App: Locate "AdRoll Marketing & Advertising" and click on it.

Install the App: On the AdRoll app page, click the "Install" button.

Review Permissions and Install: Review the permissions and click "Install app" to proceed.

Connect or Create AdRoll Account:
- If you have an existing AdRoll account: Sign in with your AdRoll credentials.

If you are new to AdRoll: Fill in the signup form and click "Sign Up."

Verify Your Email: Click the verification link in your AdRoll confirmation email.
- Confirm Your Ad Plan: Review and confirm your plan (i.e. Free Ads plan or Advanced)

Store Confirmation: Confirm the Shopify store URL during setup.

Connection Page: AdRoll will prompt you to connect both the store and account.

Connect AdRoll to Shopify if you already installed the Pixel
It is possible to connect your e-commerce store to AdRoll if you skip this step during account creation. You will have to reach out to our Customer Support team, and they will help you with the steps.
If you previously installed the Pixel you must remove it, it is crucial to remove any existing pixel before connecting through the Shopify app. The integration automatically handles pixel placement, and having duplicate pixels can lead to inaccurate tracking.
