Connecting your Ecommerce platform to AdRoll automatically generates a product feed, enabling you to run Dynamic Ads at no additional cost
This automated sync is the simplest way to get your product catalog into AdRoll. It saves you from the manual work of creating, hosting, and regularly updating a product feed file (such as a CSV, TXT, or XML file).
How Automated Product Feed works?
The Automated Product Feed sync feature is a core component of AdRoll's direct integrations with major Ecommerce platforms.
When you authorize the connection between AdRoll and your store, the integration automatically:
- Places the AdRoll Pixel across your entire website.
- Pulls your product catalog information (including product IDs, names, prices, images, and destination URLs) into AdRoll.
- Creates a new, dynamically-updated product feed.
This synced feed automatically updates to reflect changes in your store's catalog, such as price adjustments, new products, or inventory changes. This ensures your dynamic ads always feature the most current and accurate product information. Read more about the Benefits of Ecommerce Integration.

View Your Synced Feed
There is no separate "on" switch for this feature. The Automated Product Feed sync is activated automatically when you connect your supported Ecommerce store to your AdRoll account.
Once the connection is complete, you can review the status and contents of your feed:
- Log in to your AdRoll dashboard.
- Navigate to Creatives > Product Feeds from the left-hand menu.
- Here, you will see the feed automatically configured by your store integration. You can check its status and browse the products that have been synced.

Automated Feed Guidelines

Managing Product Availability (24-Hour Refresh):
- Feeds refresh every 24 hours. This can cause products you've "blacklisted" or made unavailable to reappear. To permanently remove a product, you must either delete it from your system or mark it as "Out of Stock." This prevents it from being re-added during the daily refresh.

Managing Product Filtering:
- Automated feeds are designed to show all your available products. If you need to display only a single product category, we recommend using a manual feed configured for that specific category.
Want to Use a Manual Feed Instead?
The Automated Product Feed sync feature is the recommended method for all supported Ecommerce platforms.
