Recipes for Shopify

Alert: We’re rolling this feature out slowly, and it is currently available to select AdRoll customers using the Shopify integration. Sign up here to be the first to know when it is available for your account.

What are Recipes?

AdRoll recipes are automated sequences set in motion by a specific trigger and include one or more steps. They make it easy to nurture relationships with prospects and customers over the course of their lifecycle with automated messaging across ads on the open web, email, and social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok.

How it Works

We've combined a recommended list of ingredients to help you achieve your desired marketing goal. For example, the browse abandonment recipe includes a web ad campaign, a social ad campaign (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok), and an email campaign that all target the same audience and optimize towards the same goal of re-engaging browse abandoners.

Create a Recipe

  1. From the homepage on your dashboard, navigate to the Follow a Marketing Recipe section and browse available recipes.

Create Retargeting Campaigns across Ads and Email to turn browsers into customers.

How it Works

When a visitor bounces from your website, AdRoll triggers Automated Emails and launches display ads reminding them of your brand. Pairing ads and email together gives browsers the gentle nudge they need to turn into customers.

You only need a few things to get started:

  • Your website connected to AdRoll
  • Familiarize yourself with how to build and edit emails for your different campaigns using our easy, no-code editor. Simply navigate to your Email Template Library to explore
  • Complete Email Authentication to improve your deliverability. This will tell inbox providers your brand can be trusted, making it more likely your emails will make it to the inbox.

  1. Your website connected to AdRoll via our Shopify Integration
  2. Email creative
