CTV Budget and Audience Requirements

CTV Minimum Spend

  • CTV campaigns can technically be set up for as low as USD $50 per day. However, spend at this level is intended for limited testing and will constrain scale and performance.
  • If you are Self-service customer, the recommended minimum daily budget for each CTV campaign is USD $165. We strongly recommend running CTV campaigns for at least one month for optimal results.
  • If you are a Managed services customer reach out to your dedicated Account Manager to determine your minimum budget for CTV campaigns.

 

Ad Credits not supported for CTV

  • If you have Ad Credits as part of your Advanced Package or MAP (legacy) package, they cannot be used towards your CTV campaign spend.
  • AdRoll will bill you for the CTV Campaign spend separately from your Ad Credits.
  • You cannot use Shopify ad credits for CTV.

 

CTV Geotargeting

  • Your target audience must be located in the US, Canada, or Australia. 
  • As the advertiser, you can physically be located anywhere in the world.

 

CTV Minimum Audience Size

  • For CTV we recommend targeting a broad audience to ensure optimal performance.
  • If your budget is above USD$166/day you must have a sizable audience aligned with your budget.
