Static Native Ads

Native ads appear as a part of the design of the web page they’re on. Rather than standing out as an ad, native ads tend to have an editorial look and feel, with a softer selling approach. For example, they can appear as recommended content on news sites. These ads have a 9% higher lift for brand affinity and a 18% higher purchase intent compared to regular banner ads. We recommend supplementing image ads with Native ads.

Format Guidelines  

Supported File Types JPG, PNG, GIF
File Size Up to 150KB
Destination URL (Includes UTM Parameters) Up to 1,024 characters, no redirecting URLs, URLs can't direct to a payment processor (e.g. PayPal) or video (e.g. YouTube), macros permitted.
Title Up to 60 characters
Description Up to 140 characters.
Brand Name Up to 30 characters

 

Additional Considerations

  • Publishers have editorial discretion for native ads on their websites. They can choose to resize your images or hide/truncate your descriptions to ensure consistency with their website.

  • Native Ad images should not contain any text. Text can get cropped or not appear in certain placements, which won't deliver an effective ad experience.
  • Third-party ad tags are not supported.

Create Static Native Ads

  1. Create a new campaign or edit an existing campaign.

  2. When you get to the Ads step, click Create.

  3. Drag and drop your assets into the dropzone. These can be any size greater than 600x600.

  4. Fill in the details as needed in the form on the left and preview the changes.

  5. If you need to crop or adjust the zoom level in the images used, click on the image in the preview and make your adjustments.

  6. Click Create.

  7. Review and Launch a new campaign, or Save an existing campaign.

 

Dynamic Native Ads

Native ads appear as a part of the design of the web page they’re on. Rather than standing out as an ad, native ads tend to have an editorial look and feel, with a softer selling approach. A dynamic native ad typically showcases one product image pulled from your product feed, your company name, a title, and a description.

Format Guidelines

 

Title Up to 25 characters, macros permitted (@title for Product Name or @price for the Product Price)
Description Up to 125 characters, macros permitted (@title for Product Name or @price for the Product Price)
Brand Name Up to 30 characters
Call to Action Select from 12 CTAs
UTM Parameters (text) Up to 768 characters
Destination URL Automatically pulled from product feed
Product Name and Image Automatically pulled from product feed

Note: Macros are strings of text that are replaced by a value or code when the ad gets served. For example, @title will be replaced with the actual title of the advertised product. This information is obtained directly from your product feed. We strongly encourage combining macros with static copy.

 

Create Dynamic Native Ads

Create dynamic ads in the Ads Library. Before you create dynamic ads, you'll need to set up your product feed

  1. Once you set up your product feed, navigate to your Ads tab.

  2. Click Create Ads and select Native Ad

  3. Fill out the fields on the left and preview the ads on the right. The products shown in the previews are examples and will change dynamically when the ads serve.

  4. Click Create.

  5. These will now appear in your ad library and be available for selection in any of your new/existing campaigns.
