The display of the GDPR banner is mandatory for businesses targeting visitors from Europe or Brazil. Failure to update your GDPR settings will result in AdRoll automatically categorizing your account as exempt from the GDPR banner requirement. Consequently, you will be unable to collect any data from the European Union and Brazil until a cookie-consent banner preference is established and the banner is appended.
The AdRoll Cookie Consent Banner is selected by default for all AdRoll accounts. If you still wish to proceed with the "No Consent Banner," follow the steps below.
AdRoll and NextRoll: what's the difference?
AdRoll is a division of NextRoll, Inc. You choose and manage the AdRoll Cookie Consent Banner from your AdRoll dashboard, but the live banner shown to your website visitors is branded under NextRoll, Inc. for legal and compliance reasons.
- Log in to AdRoll and navigate to Settings on the left side menu.
- Scroll down to the Data Collection > Visitor Consent.
- Select the 'No Consent Banner' option if available.
