Onboarding Checklist

1. Pixel Placement

  • Place your AdRoll Pixel.

  • Add enhanced conversion tracking JavaScript code to your conversion page(s), in order to pass back revenue and product ID values. If you're using Google Tag Manager (GTM), see GTM tag instructions.

  • Opt in to cross-device targeting.

  • Enable cross-device tracking by replacing "username@example.com" with the corresponding email variable name as defined by your website. If this email variable is not available, leave the pixel as is.

  • Send your rep your conversion page URLIf the URL does not change or is not unique, ask your rep for a custom conversion pixel.

2. Product Opt-Ins

  • Upload static creative (specs here) with their respecting landing page URLs.

    • For web ads, please reference the 6 "most popular ad sizes"

    • For Facebook, please create a 600x315 with title, text, link description (optional), and call-to-action.

  • For Dynamic Creative, fill out this form and our design team will send you a first draft in 3-5 business days (managed accounts only).

5. Goals

  • Confirm Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with your rep.

  • Confirm attribution windows. AdRoll defaults to 30 day click-through and 7 day view-through windows.
