Integrating AdRoll and Doppler

Through our Doppler integration tool, you can sync your Doppler email lists directly from Doppler to the AdRoll dashboard.

How do I create Doppler CRM segments?

To find the Doppler integration tool, navigate to Labs > Integrations. Once integrated, each list selected will populate as its own segment in the Audience tab of your AdRoll dashboard.

 

Activating the Doppler Integration:

  1. Navigate to Labs

  2. Scroll to Integrations card and click Explore

  3. Select Doppler

  4. You'll be prompted to enter the email address associated with your Doppler Account and your Doppler API Key

  5. To find your API key, log in to Doppler

  6. Navigate to the Control Panel

  7. Click Integrations > Advanced Preferences and copy your API key 

  8. Return to your AdRoll dashboard and paste your Doppler API Key in Integrations

  9. Click Import and select the list(s) that you want to import as a CRM segment

  10. Guardar

 

Best Practices for Doppler CRM Segments

Here are some tips for preparing your lists for CRM data onboarding:

  • Para lograr un buen rendimiento, sus listas deberían contener como mínimo 100 correos electrónicos.

  • Siempre que sea posible, utilice correos electrónicos personales, ya que ofrecen una tasa mayor de coincidencias.

  • Make sure your email database is up-to-date. Adding an email validation step during signup workflows can be very helpful to make sure that users are supplying active emails.

  • Consider combining CRM segments with other types of segments to boost performance. Remember, the larger your campaign's audience, the better we can optimize!

 

When will my doppler CRM segment(s) be ready to use in my campaigns?

Your Doppler CRM segment may not appear on your dashboard immediately. We will begin the matching process for new lists within six hours. Any new emails added after the process has begun may take up to two weeks to be matched. All Doppler segments will be automatically named and start with Doppler.

After your email list appears, the cookie matching begins. Give your Doppler segment(s) up to seven days to cookie match for both web and Facebook before adding it to your campaigns.

Here's some of what you can expect with your Doppler segments:

  • Once integrated, we'll pull new emails from Doppler every six days, keeping your Doppler CRM segment updated as you work with your lists.
 Once pulled, the matching process takes up to seven days.

  • Cookie matching on Facebook takes less than one day.

  • Cookie matching on the web can take up to seven days, depending on the size of your email list. Make sure you take this into consideration while planning your CRM campaign.

When your segment appears in your Audience tab, we'll display the number of emails originally uploaded through the Doppler integration.

To see how many emails were successfully matched for web or Facebook, click on the name of your Doppler segment in the Audience tab.

  • Total Web Visitors: Total active cookies matched for web.

  • New Web Visitors: Cookies matched within the date range specified.

  • Total Facebook Visitors: Total active cookies matched for Facebook.
