When AdRoll collects your measurement data, we ensure it is used to do just that: measure.
What does this mean?
If you are leveraging AdRoll Measure, and have your ads tagged with our impression trackers via your other advertising partners, we ensure that the measurement data collected through those trackers is siloed and can only be used by AdRoll for purposes of providing our measurement services.
How do we do this?
We have a separate S3 bucket within our AWS data storage that can only be accessed by AdRoll Measure. Any measurement data that we collect on your behalf automatically gets stored in this siloed bucket. We do not use this data for any other AdRoll products and services, such as targeting or bidding, and we do not use your measurement data to enhance or optimize non-measurement services.
Why do we do this?
We understand your concerns about the handling of your measurement data and want to assure you and your advertising partners that our systems have been built to keep your measurement data separate from AdRoll’s media offerings.
