Create Static Ads

For Image and Rich Media ads, you’ll need to upload completed ads with all assets built into them, or request free ads. For all other static ad types, you'll provide image assets during ad creation in a campaign.

Image Ads

  1. Create a new campaign or edit an existing campaign.

  2. When you get to the Ads step, click Upload.

  3. Drag and drop any pre-created web ads into the dropzone.

  4. Edit the details as needed and preview the ads on the right.

  5. Click Upload.

  6. Review and Launch a new campaign, or Save an existing campaign.

Native and Social Ads

  1. Create a new campaign or edit an existing campaign.

  2. When you get to the Ads step, click Create.

  3. Drag and drop your assets into the dropzone. These can be of any size greater than 600x600.

  4. Fill in the details as needed in the form on the left and preview the changes.

  5. If you need to crop or adjust the zoom level in the images used, click on the image in the preview and make your adjustments.

  6. Click Create.

  7. Review and Launch a new campaign, or Save an existing campaign.

Third-Party Ads

  1. Reach out to your account manager to enable this feature on your AdRoll account.

  2. Create your Ad Tags with any of our supported vendors while ensuring that all requirements are met.

  3. Upload the Ad Tags to your AdRoll account.

    1. Navigate to Ads > Create Third Party Ads.

    2. Enter a name for the ad..

    3. Select the ad size.

    4. Copy and paste the entire ad tag code into the field labeled Third-party ad tag code. Make sure to copy the actual text, not the cell if it's in a spreadsheet.

    5. If you have multiple ad tags to upload, select Add An Additional Tag and a new box will appear for you to repeat the process.

  4. Submit.

  5. Add these to your campaigns like any other ad.
