Activating AdRoll on Magento 1.x

This extension currently only supports Magento 1.x versions

AdRoll has integrated with Magento to help you solve shopping cart abandonment and drive more sales. Connect your Magento 1.x store to your AdRoll account and start running campaigns across our extensive inventory, without any developer resources.

Install the Magento extension for access to our high-performing dynamic ads and product recommendation engine.

How to Install

  1. Log in to AdRoll.

  2. Select Download extension.

    If you've already launched a campaign or don't see this, access these steps here.

  3. Select Install Magento Extension to access your Magento Connect Manager.

    If you don't use the Magento Connect Manager, upload the package files directly to your FTP and proceed to Step 5.  

  4. Upload the package under Magento's Direct package file upload, then select Upload.

  5. Once installed, return to AdRoll and select Connect With Magento.

  6. Select which AdRoll profile you want to connect to your Magento store.

  7. Once in your Magento Admin Panel, select which Magento store you want to connect and click Continue.

  8. You'll be redirected back to AdRoll where you can then launch your campaign.

 

Manual Installation

Note: You can only access dynamic ads by installing this extension using the instructions above.

  1. Log in to your Magento account and click the System tab.

  2. Select Configuration.

  3. Under the General tab, select Design.

  4. Select the Footer section, and place the pixel into the Miscellaneous HTML text field.* 

  5. Click Save Config to complete placement.

*Multiple javascript tags can be placed in this box, so if you already have custom code inserted, just be sure to put a space between your AdRoll Pixel and any other surrounding extension codes.
