Personalizing Your Dashboard Displays

Not everyone uses their dashboard the same way, so here are some tips on how you can adjust your dashboard displays to work for you.

Dashboard metrics

Click here for a full list of metrics and their definitions.

Your dashboard reporting is designed to help provide you with a quick overview of your campaign or website activity. If you want to drill down on a specific aspect of your account, click the Generate Report button in the right sidebar.

Campaigns

The performance metrics across the top of your Campaigns tab are an aggregate of all campaign activity within the date range specified. You can also see a topline report of performance by individual campaign in your campaigns table. These metrics are industry standard and cannot be customized.

Quick Tip

Revenue data and ROI only appear if you're tracking order values. Learn more about how to start tracking ROI and revenue.

We set up your graph to display trend lines for Impressions and CTR so you can visually gauge the changes in these metrics as they fluctuate day over day. We chose these default metrics based on what most advertisers find most helpful, but you can customize the metrics most important to you by clicking on the Settings button below the graph.

Audience

The metrics across the top of your Audience tab report on visitor activity on your website, including the number of unique visitors, converted customers, and (if set up) revenue tracked.

Like in Campaigns, you can customize the graph to plot trends based on the metrics most important to you. The default setting reports new visitors and total conversions within the date range specified.

Dashboard Date Range

All dates or times are reported in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), the global time standard. This is important to remember if you have third party analytics (like Google Analytics) set up to your local time zone, but otherwise shouldn’t make a huge difference in how to read your dashboard or any reports.

Changing your dashboard date range adjusts all reporting and activity to reflect the period you select. This can be three days, three months, or three years. Feel free to customize this based on what is most useful for you.

Custom start date - today shows you activity over a period of time up to today in real time. We will automatically update each time your dashboard loads to show your latest activity, while keeping the length of time consistent to what you set.

Custom start date - custom end date shows you activity that occurred over a specific period in the past. In this case, we won’t mess with the date range set until you adjust it again.

Card or List View

You can choose between card and list view for your Campaigns table and your Ads library. Where available, selecting the "grid" icon toggles card view and the three line "list" icon toggles list view.

The information displayed in each of these views can differ, so try it out and see what you like best! We recommend cards if you want to get a quick overview and list to see more specific information.
