How to Use AI-Generated Subject Lines

Generate a subject line for an Email Newsletter 

Take the below steps to use the power of AI to generate subject lines for an email newsletter campaign: 

1. Navigate to Email Newsletters
2. Open an existing newsletter draft or Create a new one
3. You’ll see a 4-step process to build out your campaign
4. In Step 3, click to Edit the subject line
5. In the Subject field, click the [AI] icon
6. Tell AdRoll what the goal of your campaign is. Be specific! Here are some examples:
   1. 50% off sitewide sale for a limited time
   2. Blog newsletter with upcoming real estate trends
   3. Promote a new collection of springtime candles
   4. Update to our privacy policy
7. Select a Writing Style that matches your brand guidelines and voice
   1. Casual
   2. Formal
   3. Humorous
   4. Sincere
   5. Informative
8. Select if you would like to include an emoji
9. Click to Generate
10. Subject lines will be generated for you in seconds. Select the subject line you’d like to use or click to Regenerate more suggestions.
11. Once you select a subject line, you can make any edits needed.

Generate a subject line for an Automated Email 

Take the below steps to use the power of AI to generate subject lines for an Automated Email:

1. Navigate to Automated Emails
2. Open an existing campaign or Create a new one
3. You’ll see a 3-step process to build out your campaign
4. In Step 3, where you define the emails in your sequence, click to Edit Sequence

5. Find the email in the sequence that you want to update and click Edit
   
6. Open the Subject Line for the email. In the Subject field, click the [AI] icon
   
   
   
7. Tell AdRoll what the goal of your campaign is to help generate more relevant subject lines. Be specific! Here are some examples:
